[osol-help] [install-discuss] 2009.06 installation from Live CD fails with "alloc: / system full"

boot up live cd and run 
pfexec echo |format # rem to get the HD cXdX
pfexec fdisk /dev/rdsk/cXdXp0
# under fidks you can shange the Solaris2 fdisk partition size if need be.
pfexec format 
Then select the HD no, then p and change slice 0 and increase it to at least 
16g I use 64g, to allow for luupgrade to work under the rpool that uses s0
