Hi Mid, Russian keyboard layout has two layers, one for Cyrillic characters and the other for Latin characters, if you accidentally set your kb layout to Russian you have still the possibility to enter Latin characters by using "AltGrph/Right Alt" key (right side of the space bar in most keyboards). You should press "AltGrph/Right Alt + key" at the same time in order to get Latin character.
If you want to set you kb layout back to English after login you can type "kbd -s" in terminal and choose US/English. Hope this helps, Regards. --- Pierre Mid a ?crit : > Hello. > I have just set up OpenSolaris on VirtualBox. My native language is Russian, > so entered I during the installation.
