Also , notice that it boots in text mode for you select language an keyboard, etc and after thta it continues in GUI mode. Requested minimal amount of memory (RAM) for opensolaris 2009.06 is 512MB. just to do instalaltioan but if some application is working on desktop it is 768MB as recommended minimal amount.
