[osol-help] can't log into Gnome as anyone but root

There are no error messages or warnings. the screen goes black then displays 
the GUI login screen again. I have created other accounts and created home 
directories for them as well. ps sorry it took so long to get back here been 
gone for a few days. thanks for replying.
