Hi,
I am running OpenSolaris 2008.11 snv_101b_rc2 X86 on a amd64
machine. From the logs I see that the sendmail daemons cannot bind to
a IPv4 socket.

On Linux I experience a similaer problem with OpenLDAP, not beeing
able to bind to a IPv4 socket. The reason is a bug in glibc IPv6
procedures. A workaround was to remove the hostname localhost from the
IPv6 adress in /etc/hosts.
I tried this on my openSolaris box as well, but with no avail. Is
there a procedure known to overcome this problem with openSolaris?
