New installation with dual problems: no NVIDIA utility (the is a NVIDIA card installed that Ubuntu uses) and no network access. Fresh installation of 2008.11. Trying to fix the display (I have a dual monitor setup, and the default display is the little crappy one, and it is mis-sized also), I followed the directions at http://weblogs.java.net/blog/bleonard/archive/2008/05/opensolaris_200.html#comments but I still get no NVIDIA tools appearing where it should.
I would run the sddtool_21.jnlp utility, but that crashes also, due to network non-access. I need to solve both of these issues, and help with either one would be appreciated. The display problem is feeding on the network problem which prevents the display problem resolution. Please help me get unstuck. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
