[b]Need someone's help.[/b]
CONTEXT: After successfully installing VirtualBox 2.1.0,
tried to set up OpenSolaris' Ruby-based environment
and got the below error message.
1. Downloaded osol-0811 to Admin login on VISTA (64 bit) PC.
1b. Previously I tried this sequence on a standard (not
admin) login and got the same error message.
2. Set 1.024 MB RAM and 16GB (dynamic expanding file) of Hard Disk.
3. Selected "OpenSolaris (64 bit)" during the VM setup.
Probably need to explain when to select "OpenSolaris"
and when to select "OpenSolaris (64 bit)".
4. Select 41 and 3 for English language and keyboard.
5. Brought up Package Manger and found it known about 22791 packages.
6. Tried to download rudy-dev and got this error message:
[b] An unknown error occured while preparing the list of packages
Please let the developers know about this problem by filing a bug
at http://defect.opensolaris.org
Exception value:
[Errno 28] No Space left on Device[/b]
A. Where should I look for more information?
B. Should I install other packages first?
