It was suggested that I post this here, so I'm doing so in hope that someone may be able to free me.
None of the ON releases have been bootable on my system after installation. They've all either hung or spontaneously rebooted at the GRUB screen. I'm currently running the 11/'06 Solaris 10 release successfully. The latest Solaris-express Nv-b55b release locks hard at the GRUB menu screen and I can find no way to intervene in the boot process. Can anyone help me ?????? System is as follows: Tyan S2885 mainboard 2 AMD 265 Opteron CPUs 2GB Corsair (4 DIMMS) RAM Adaptec 2940 ( for SCSI scanner support ) WD800 Hard drive (Western Digitail 80G via on-board SATA interface) This message posted from opensolaris.org
