Install opensolaris on a disk from which you will boot your system.
After installation edit the file
/boot/solaris/devicedb/master
Add the following line
pci1095,3114 pci1095,3114 msd pci ata.bef "Silicon Image 3114 SATA
Controller"
!This must be on one line!
After reboot your Controller should work.
That's what i did. Hope this helps.
