That's what I thought, but below are the the files listed in that directory, I 
thought there would at least me one called 'gcc'. Does indiana only have a 
partial install, or libraries only (which do not allow compiling - or something 
similar)?

( I had to remove a few that made the list turn out funny - psselect, psset, 
texi2* (x3))

In the list you willnote some samba files. At least I think they are samba
