I think it has something to do with the hard drives. - The "live" distros should not care about hard drives one whit, jsut so the disk reader is working correctly. Maybe, for a while, make sure the disk reader is alone on its controller/cable and correctly jumpered for master or single drive. but XP doenst seem to have a probelm with your setup up so.... I wonder if it is a problem with the graphics card? -try a distro that offers a text -based install and select that instead of the X -based defaults taht are now popular This message posted from opensolaris.org
