Sorry, but I have no clue. After reading http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/features/articles/live_upgrade.html I have less of a clue, to be honest. http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-0178/lucreate-1?l=en&a=view is another contender to help me, but it does neither. To me both look rather different, by the way.
What I am hoping for, is a practical example for a newbie. I did try the live-upgrade before (I wrote about it here), but it had failed miserably; and I want to have success once in a while. ;) Okay, I do understand this part here: lucreate [-A 'BE_description'] -c BE_name -n BE_name , but fail to understand the rest: -m mountpoint:device[,metadevice]:fs_options [-m ...] Is there any (recent) link on how to upgrade a standard nv_xx install to nv_yy using luupgrade?
