Hi I have just replaced Solaris 10 with opensolaris 2008.05 on an Ultra-20. Trying to run a remote gui application such as veritas vea or even xclock that worked under solaris 10 now return an error - 'Error: Can't open display: hostname:0.0'. I have tried entering 'svccfg -s x11-server setprop options/tcp_listen = true' that I came across in these forums, but that did not make any difference.
Also, using the unix keyboard that came with the ultra-20 some of the symbols are in the wrong place - shift-2 gives a " instead of a @ and the pipe symbol '|' cannot be produced at all. I can't see anything in the menus to configure the type of keyboard in use, so can anyone tell me how to do it. Thanks This message posted from opensolaris.org
