My laptop has an Intel 3945ABG wifi card and a Marvell Tech. 88E8936 PCI-E network adapter. When I load opensolaris off the live CD and it detects the Wifi card. It works fine. I can connect to my network with no problems. When I pull the card out of my laptop, let opensolaris boot. My onboard network adapter will pick up an IP address and work like a charm. But with both are installed, neither will pick up an IP address. They only report 0.0.0.0 and there is no link light on my switch that the network adapter is plugged into. When I do a wifi scan it sees my router. It just won't pull an IP address. I'm not sure really how to trouble shoot this other than ifconfig myk up. I'm new to this OS and unix. I'm also not sure if it's a bug with the two drivers trying to work at the same time or if there is something I was supposed to do to make them work together.
