All the drives in the PC are from Samsung.
I checked and found a similar tool available:

I'll try this tool tomorrow.

Regarding the SATA drive connection:

Disk1 is connected to SATA1, Disk2 to SATA2, DVD/CD drive to SATA3
and Disk3 to SATA4.
Additionally the SATA connectors have a color code on the motherboard.
The SATA1 and SATA2 are red, while SATA3 and SATA4 are black.
Could this imply that SATA1-2  and SATA3-4 are multiplexed towards the
south bridge?
The fifth SATA port (SATA_E) which is connected to the JMicron chip is not used.
