HI I installed OpenSolaris 2008.05 on my HP Compaq nx6110. It did not pick up the network. By inspecting the Device drivers it shows that the driver for the Broadcom 4410 xx is missing. Its not a PCI card and the broadcom network interface is onboard.
According to the BigAdmin HCL page http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/data/components/details/2698.html The driver should be there and working ? Could somebody please help. PS does this mean i have to forget to use Solaris , because there is not a solution to get a suitable driver for the notebook i am using , and the network interface is onboard and not a PCI card that i can pull out and insert a new one?
