Hi

If you have managed to install OpenSolaris in another BIOS partition of
your PC
You need to select the correct BIOS partition where Solaris 10 lives as the
Active partition when booting.

This is usually achived by editing the GRUB menu in /boot/grub/menu.lst
and supplying the correct parameters , instructiions in the file , to boot
the
  alternative partition.

the /dev/rdsk/cXdXsX syntax only gives access to disk SLICES within
the Active
   BIOS partition.

Another way of doing this is to install the FreeBSD bootloader onto the
MBR of the
disk which lets you select at boot time which Partition too set Active and
boot.
