I've got snv_94 running on my ThinkPad. It worked great yesterday and I rebooted without problems at least twice. This morning I tried to log in and got the following message:
"The GNOME session manager was unable to lock the file '/export/home/username/.ICEauthority'. ...Sometimes this may occur if the files directory is unwritable, you could try logging in via the failsafe session and ensuring that it is." I tried to log in via failsafe but got the same message. I opened a Terminal in failsafe and deleted the opensound drivers because I thought they were the problem but no joy. Same message. Any suggestions? I have no idea what to do other than wipe the drive and re-install from scratch, but I'm hoping there is a better solution. This message posted from opensolaris.org
