Other than the installer overwriting grub on the mbr, there shouldn't be any problems. By overwriting, I mean it will install it's own copy of grub on the mbr. It *should* pick up the vista instance and add it to it's menu.lst, it *won't* know what to do with the ubuntu instance and thus won't add anything to it's menu.lst to support booting ubuntu. As long as you know what to put in menu.lst (in the opensolaris grub instance) to boot ubuntu you should be fine. Cheers, -- Glenn
