I'm experiencing the same issue trying to start VirtualBox ( VirtualBox-1.6.4-SunOS_amd64) in the following environment:
* SunOS 0penSolaris 5.11 snv_95 i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris * isainfo -k =>amd64 The message is: Echec de cr?ation de l'objet COM pour VirtualBox (Failure: Object COM not created) Code retourn? : 0x80470007 (Code number) I successfully installed VirtualBoxKern-1.6.4-SunOS-r33808.pkg and then VirtualBox-1.6.4-SunOS-amd64-r33808.pkg.
