Hi, I have a T1000 server, which comes without any external media connections. I have successfully installed Solaris 10 on the machine, by using the jumpstart installation method from a Linux server. I would like to move to OpenSolaris, though, in order to do some kernel work. I have a few questions: 1. Which version should I install? 2. What would be the best way to perform the installation (fresh install, upgrade, etc.)? 3. I read somewhere that jumpstart is not available for OpenSolaris, is this true? 4. Why is the T1000 not on the OpenSolaris HCL? Are there any known problems? 5. Is there a forum dedicated to Niagara-based servers?
