Just a shot in the dark, but I had a problem installing b96 on a Dell where the install would fail after setting up the disk layout. There was an EFI partition on the disk I wanted to install on, and when I used fdisk to remove that and leave the disk blank, the install worked fine.
Does your disk have any existing partitions on it? null This message posted from opensolaris.org
