duhring at einstein:~$ head -1 /etc/release
OpenSolaris 2008.11 snv_94 X86
duhring at einstein:~$ ls .VirtualBox/VDI/
billyware.vdi solaris10.vdi
Those are the only two I have tried to install here and I had no such problems
with either one.
On Solaris Express I also have Slackware 12.1, Debian Lenny & Ubuntu 8.04.
Some were installed
from CD/DVD and some from ISO images. System is amd64 x2 4800+ with 4 GB
memory.
