double check with 10u4!
AS long as you have the nic card plugged in, at root run sys-unconfig, on
reboot, system startup you will be prompted for all the system info , i.e
network dhcp or ip with hostname.
If it does not still see it, submit a RFE with /var/adm/messages ,
/usr/X11/bin/scancpi -v , prtconf -pv and prtdiag -v and the make and model of
the mother board or system model no. as a work around once you find out the
type of nic chip it is there might be a 3 party driver available., but with the
RFE, submitting and check the checkbox if you tested with Solaris 10u4 as well
as OpenSolaris, will improve changes if getting it included into info Solaris
and OpenSolaris along with other users using the same type of chip..
