Are there other steps that need to be complete postinstall installation scripts 
, i.e add_drv xx , to create the logical names in /dev. contact the vender or 
the auther, looks like the driver mudole is only getting loaded!
So you could create a jumpstart server using the setup_server_install image 
update the jumpstart x86.miniroot  make sure the device is defined
