I've checked into it and the drives I have are the most recent/working
firmware. This cannot be it. It is something with solaris (possibly my
motherboard?) not reading the drives every time. I'll reboot and it will hang
at 'configuring devices' for about a minute or two, this is when the drives are
not recognized. When they are recognized and all is fine bootup happens in
about 15 seconds.

This was not happening with b99. It was also not happening with 2008.11 for
the first two weeks I had it installed. It began a couple of weeks ago and I
could just do 'reboot -- -r' and it would be fine afterwards. Now It is hit or
miss, sometimes discs 1 and 4 will show, sometimes only 1, sometimes 1 and 2,
never none, rarely all 4. I guess theres not much difference in sxce b99 and
OS2008.11 (that I'm using) so i'll probably just go back to b99 (afterall, it
is 2 builds away from 2008.11 which is b101).

I ran seatools for DOS all last night and today on the drives, long tests, all
checked out and passed. I do not think this is a disk problem, but I think
i'll call seagate just for the heck of it.
