[sorry again for being sarcastic, but I'm frustrated and pissed off] In a clean OpenSolaris 2008.11 installation, is CIFS enabled and active? Do I need to install the SUNWsmb* packages to make it work? Or are those packages for Samba? And what's the diference between the two?
According to this: http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-2429/smbservertasks?l=en&a=view&q=cifs cifs is there and you don't need to do anything to install it Or is that guide for SXCE, SXDE, SXME, nevada, indiana whatever distro and NOT for OpenSolaris 2008.11??? Is there an OpenSolaris 2008.11 specific admin guide?
