I've just installed OpenSolaris and I have to admit that I'm a complete newbie here, although I've already got quite some experience with the Linux world. The first problem here is the speed of the system as a whole: it takes more than 5 minutes to start and runs very, very slowly - it's quite a time before anything, e. g. Firefox starts. What could cause this? Debian runs like hell here:-). The computer is about a half of a year old Toshiba laptop... Shall I post any more specifications? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
