Greetings,
I've been trying to install OpenSolaris for many hours now and I always have
the same issue. Booting from the latest OpenSolaris DVD, I get the grub prompt:

GNU GRUB version 0.97 (638 lower / 2096064K upper memory)

[ Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB
lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists the possible
completions of a device/filename. ]

grub>

I tried gowing to single user mode but I get an error 15 file not found.

I think the problem is because I'm using disks that use to have Gentoo Linux
with a grub. The reason why I came to this conclusion is that I did mange to
install OpenSolaris on a fresh drive (just not the drive I need) on the same
exact hardware. Plus I checked and my HW is listed as supported.

I tried to get rid of the grub in so many ways, it's not even funny anymore.
I tried dd on the first sectors of all 3 of my drives, I tried fixmbr from XP,
I even tried a whipe tool on all 3 disks. Nothing is working for me.

I've done my homework...
Any Ideas ?
