You can delete all the lines with "e1000g" in them from the "/etc/path_to_inst" file, then run "reboot -- -r". Make sure you type the reboot command exactly like that: reboot, space, dash, dash, space, dash, lowercase r.
Be sure to back up /etc/path_to_inst in case modifying it messes up your system. It's not very likely, but it could happen, especially if you make a mistake editing the file. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
