After a hardware failure, I put an nfs-exported zfs mirror in a server that also runs the Jetty apps Openfire and OpenNMS.
Neither of the Jetty-based services now run. Neither show anything particularly amiss in their logs, but I don't see the proper ports (8080 and 9091 in this case) as in use when examining with netstat. Curiously, one of the services bound a port successfully just after reboot this morning, but when I took it down to migrate to a zone I was unable to get the process to bind again, either in the global zone or ipkg zone. I have one e1000g here with 5 virtual interfaces all on the same subnet. Any help much appreciated. Maybe this is just a Jetty issue (we got ssh to bind to port 9091), but I'm not sure at this point. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
