When I enable sharesmb=on on a ZFS filesystem, then I can mount it with a CIFS client. When the ZFS filesystem has a legacy mountpoint (because its used in a Zone), then I can't access with a CIFS client on it, even if sharesmb=on.
Why I can't access on my ZFS filesystem with a CIFS client, only because the mountpoint is legacy? Is it because the samba server software needs a real path to share? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
