I just rebuilt a machine from scratch over the last couple of days. I
installed the 2008.11 version that is available via bittorrent. I then
upgraded to the official release in the repo on opensolaris.org. I
installed ss-dev and amp-dev among a lot of other things from the prod
repo. After upgrading to the Dev repo versions, the ss-dev and amp-dev
were no longer checkmarked when accessing the dev repo. The gcc-dev
cluster made it through fine though. I actually rebuilt the machine from
scratch again twice more and it still behaved the same way.

Does this sound like what happened to you?

Regards,
  Greg
