This is the easiest way I found to change the keyboard layout: 1. vi /etc/default/kbd 2. Go to line with: LAYOUT= 3. Change to your desired language (run kbd -s to view the available languages you can enter) 4. :wq (write & quit) 5. reboot (please let me know if there is a service that can be restarted instead)
I am only learning OpenSolaris myself. >From this thread I learnt of the kbd command but not the answer. 'man kbd' helped me find the answer. Hope this helps someone who had the same problem as I. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
