I've finally made the switch from SXCE to OSOL on my main server. This has
taken me a few days of effort to recreate all the tweaks I've been doing over
many years, but now it's almost done.

However, I use dirvish (rsync) to do nightly backups remotely (via ssh). Since
the backup needs to have access to system files, it does an ssh to "root" to
the machine. I use a self-signed key locked to the backup server so it avoids
the password challenge.

With root as a role, I can't figure out how to avoid the challenge. Do I have
to make root as a user, or is there an OSOL way to deal with this?

Thanks,
Gary
