Hello to everybody.

This is my first post here as I've been recently able to
install OpenSolaris on my MacBook Pro laptop, after buying a
larger disk. I suppose I'm going to see a few old friends
here :-)

So far, so good and I had the pleasure of seeing my Java
applications working with no issues with OpenSolaris.

My disk setup is a bit complex and these are my EFI
partitions:

1 EFI partition
2 OpenSolaris
3 Linux (*)
4 Windows XP (*)
5 Snow Leopard
6 Leopard
7 ZFS pool

(*) Not yet installed from my previous hard disk.

Leopard has been fitted with the open source r/w ZFS
drivers, so it can work with the pretty large ZFS pool in
partition #7, where all my data are. I've been working with
ZFS and Mac OS X since a long time and everything is fine.

Now, I'd like to have my OpenSolaris to see the ZFS pool in
partition #7; but running zpool import -f -a doesn't see it.

I've been all of a sudden caught by the idea that
OpenSolaris cannot see anything in the partitions beyond the
four =:-O but I home I'm wrong :-) and that the limitation
only holds at boot time.

In any case, I'm still in time to reformat and move
everything, especially considering the XMas holidays, so
please let me know.

Thanks.
