Hi! My installation of Solaris express runs fine. Now I want to install some updates, if available.
The tool 'smpatch' tells me, I should register using the updatemanager. When I did this, my Sun online account was not accepted. So I created a new one within the wizard which seems to work. But now I get this error every time I want to check for updates: | Failure: Cannot connect to retrieve detectors: Authentication failed | due to bad credentials. You may need to re-register this system. When I log in at sunconnection.sun.com with my new account I do not see any systems. Reconfiguring the Update Manager does not work, each step requires a "Service Plan number" which I do not have. What did I wrong? Can anyone tell me how to retrieve updates for my system?
