Hi all,
I've tried to install my first Solaris and met with failure from the very
outset :(
Only VGA drivers work with my video card, but if i uses VGA Common or VGA Nvidia the installer sets the resolution to 320x256 independent of what resolution i've chosen. And it's impossible continue installation in that resolution because i don't see most of components in dialogs.
If i select VGA 16 color drivers i get 640x480, but in graphics mode installer crashes: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException in ColorModel.setRGBs...
I've installed Solaris in console mode, but when after start it try to switch in graphics
mode i get "No video signal" on monitor. Same result as i got when have used
VESA drivers in beginning of installation. And i can't do anything with that because
can't stop/change a loading sequence...
I've booted in safe mode but couldn't find any Xorg files(config or binaries)
or way to install new drivers...
Can anyone tell me how to install drivers and/or change configs?
