Do you have local connectivity (can you access your other local machine or
router by IP)?  Do you have routing set up properly?  These are both
configured pretty much exactly like Linux (ifconfig and route).  Then, you
need to set up DNS which, slightly different from Linux, includes both the
/etc/resolv.conf file and the /etc/nsswitch.conf
