Hello all,
I have newly installed Open Solaris 10 on machine with amd cpu, - the
installation was without problems, the system runs ok.
But,
I have 2 problems :
1. although I had entered the correct screen resolution and crt data, the
resolution is set set back to 800x600, which is not very helpful when working
with gimp or star office.
Where can I change these parameters on an installed system ?

cp /etc/X11/.xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Then edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf to suit your needs.

2 I wanted to import my linux data, which I have on external disk with reiserfs- it seems
I cannot mount the USB-disk at all. Where can I get te necessary drivers for the
"mount" command ?

At this time, I do not believe there is any way to mount a reiserfs
partition under Solaris.
