Do you get any SCSI Sense errors in your system logs? If you do, you might try the scrub again and see if it happens on the same block numbers. I found one of my disks really had a bad block and zfs didn't want to work around it.
Did you disable NCQ? This had resolved a number of my problems using either board. BTW, my own experience with the Si driver had not been pretty and I finally switched to a Marvell based board.
