Running cc -V Result: cc: Sun C 5.9 SunOS_i386 Patch 124868-01 2007/07/12 usage: cc [ options] files. Use 'cc -flags' for details However, it is not a full install and Netbeans fails on java. Bash: export MANPATH="$MANPATH:/opt/SUNWspro/man" export PATH="$PATH:./:/opt/SUNWspro/bin" Running prepare_system -C Then prepare_system -s java seems to install items, However it is via pkgadd not pkg. If anyone can advise on "How to et up a build environment" please help.
