Hello friends. unfortunately I am new in solaris, although I have experience in Unix and Linux about 5 years, well my problem is this. 1. What can I do with SOLARIS? 2. Solaris and unix are very similar?, have the same aim? 3. Solaris is for server? or for Desktop ? or are for both things. 4. in this pages I find several link for download programs: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/downloads/; but I don't know wich I can dowmload for install and give services as server.
