# svcs -xv this command tells you about services that failed to start when the comuter booted. I asked ARE YOU USING IPV6 ? Is your ISP delivering a IPV6 service to you ? If you are not using it there is no need to have online. If Ifconfig shows that the interface is UP and RUNNING. and netstat shows you a valid routing table and it still does not work you probably have a DNS problem . Check /etc/nsswitch.conf and /etc/resolv.conf. You can reconfigure you network with the utility " sys-unconfig " sys-unconfig deletes you present network configuration and reboots the computer. Then you will have to input all the network info again as the computer restarts.
