The mounting of ZFS pools and filesystems is NOT done using the mount command. 
It is done using the ZFS command - see the ZFS man page.

Also, Solaris will install the boot loader into the MBR - at least it does when 
the root filesystem is on UFS. You cannot use the version of GRUB supplied with 
most Linux distributions to boot Solaris because it does not understand 
Solaris/BSD "slices" (a.k.a. "sub-partitions"), nor does it have a ZFS 
filesystem reader.

You therefore need to leave the Solaris-supplier GRUB in the MBR and install 
the Linux distribution so that its boot loader is located in the Linux root 
partition. You can then add an entry to the GRUB located in your MBR to 
directly boot your Linux distribution, in most cases. Failing that, you can 
"chainload" the Linux-supplied GRUB from the Solaris-supplied GRUB.
