I have the following wireless network issue under opensolaris 2008.11 If the network is configured automatically via physical:nwam the interface is configured correctly - I am able to ping the gateway and dns seems to work. The issue is that I would rather use physical:default for a static address.
I've configured the following: /etc/nodename /etc/hostname.ath0 /etc/defaultrouter /etc/nsswitch.conf /etc/resolv.conf /etc/hosts The interface comes up and the default route is set however I am unable to ping the gateway.
