Hi there, I'm new to open solaris and am looking for a bit of help configuring my network settings to access the internet.
I connect to the internet by simply plugging my network cable into the wall socket in my room (i stay in university halls :<) and under windows nothing need be changed or edited. After fresh install of OS, i cant get internet to work (cant browse using firefox etc) and have tried disabling NWAM to fiddle with it manually but had no luck :( Ive got a Gigabyte M52L-S3 motherboard and OS identifies the network driver as nge0. Any help would be greatly appreciated, rather keen to get rid of windows :D Thanks, Logi. PS.
