Evening! Been playing around with iSCSI on snv_105 x86 and all is well getting to mount the disk on a windows target. However trying to use the svc:/network/iscsi_initiator I get a rather strange disk identifier.
I've just includes the last bit of the process but why the c6t600144F0497A2D8B00927336D01F0000d0? Thought c6t6d0 would look more sensible :-) pfexec iscsiadm modify discovery -t enable pfexec iscsiadm add discovery-address 192.168.0.2:3260 pfexec iscsiadm list target Target: iqn.1986-03.com.sun:02:9cec049d-daf1-e25c-ac3a-a90c397e25a3.play-area Alias: play-area TPGT: 1 ISID: 4000002a0000 Connections: 1 pfexec devfsadm -c iscsi pfexec format Searching for disks...done c6t600144F0497A2D8B00927336D01F0000d0: configured with capacity of 1023.94MB AVAILABLE DISK SELECTIONS: 0. c3d0 <DEFAULT cyl 9722 alt 2 hd 255 sec 63> /p...@0,0/pci-...@8/i...@0/c...@0,0 1. c6t600144F0497A2D8B00927336D01F0000d0 <SUN-SOLARIS-1 cyl 32766 alt 2 hd 4 sec 16> /scsi_vhci/d...@g600144f0497a2d8b00927336d01f0000 Specify disk (enter its number): TIA Paul _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list opensolaris-help@opensolaris.org
