Install from livecd, reboot and it's all ok.
Add virtual-box/punchin etc config thunderbird, reboot and I'm looking at the
grub comand line.
reboot and import the rpoot and it looks ok.

Done this installation twice, insanity is doing the same thing again and again
and expecting a different outcome, so I'm stuck.
