Hi, does anyone have handy the secret recipe to install our beloved OpenSolaris 2009.06 (or later) onto a brand new Dell T105 ?
The thing panics as soon as I try to boot the livecd, no matter which one I try (2008.11, 2009.06, 2010.02b117 etc.) No luck either with Solaris 5/09, panic and reboot. Yet it works fine with FreeBSD 7.2, which is ... great, but not what we'd like to use at all. As a small server, it's great on paper (AMD quadcore w. 8GB ram, inexpensive), so it is very frustrating indeed.
